The important stuff at their fingertips. That is a useful way to greet members each time they login. Presenting members with what they need as soon as they enter will save them time and effort.
WishList Member includes an After Login page.
This means each time a member logs into the site, they are shown the set After Login page.
There is a basic message applied as the default After Login page. You also have the option to customize that experience for your members. You could create a more detailed member dashboard experience for your members.

After Login Page Overview
As noted, the After Login page will appear to a member right after they login and it will be seen every time after login.
A Global Default After Login page can be set or individual After Login pages can be set for each membership level.
Additional options and settings related to configuring the After Login page are available in the After Login Page article.
In this article, we will focus on the type of information you can include on a member dashboard page when setting it as the After Login page.
—
Two Key Pieces of Information Regarding the After Login Page
- It is the first page a member sees after login
- It is seen each time a member logs in
They just logged in and are likely looking for information or resources that are relevant to their membership.
Since the After Login page is consistently seen by members, it is recommended to include useful information and links that are “evergreen” and can be used at any time. We get into more details on that below.
Any content, links, or information the member will need to access again or on a regular basis are typically included on the After Login page. Of course, the page often can't contain every piece of content. This is where relevant links to specific areas of the site come in.

What Should Appear on a Member Dashboard Page?
The answer to this question can depend on the type of site. But, there are a few things that usually appear on a member dashboard page.
- Clear Links. A selection of clearly labelled buttons or links that will direct the member to where they want to go.
- Account Area. A way for members to access their account and be able to change their email address, password, etc.
- Any Provided Extras. This may include links to a Bonus section or a Downloads area.
- Access to Support. The ability to quickly and easily reach out and receive support is important for any membership site.
Note: You may find some of the buttons / links on your member dashboard page will also be included on an welcome page (After Registration page). Or you may have links that only need to appear on the welcome page. More information is available on creating a welcome page.

Member Dashboard Page Example
We have included a screenshot example of a member dashboard page below. It uses a WordPress default theme and includes some minor formatting. Of course, you can use the theme of your choice and can use a page builder if you would like.
With that being said, the page includes a short message to the member and includes links to some common areas they will visit on a regular basis.
You can customize your own member dashboard page to include what your members will want and need.

Revert to Previous Page Settings – Revisions
There may be times when you may want to revert back to content that was previously saved on the page. Perhaps you decide you liked the previous text better or preferred a lay out that was used.
You can use the WordPress Revisions section to revert back to previous save points for the content on the page.
WordPress displays a Revisions area on the right side of the edit page section as displayed in the screenshot below.
—
You can click to view the Revisions for the page and the Compare Revisions section appears. This WordPress feature allows you to roll back to previous save points. This can be helpful if you want to go back to using a previously saved version of the page.
Note: The slider on the top can be used to display different save points so you can select the revision of your choice.
The revisions will show what has been removed or added and the Restore This Revision button can be used to complete the restoration.

This essentially allows you to roll back to a previously saved version of the page.
